Te Rapa Christmas at the Races featuring the Waikato Times Gold Cup
Te Rapa Racecourse is the perfect place to for your end-of-year Christmas party, and Waikato Racing Club hosts two superb Christmas racedays. Saturday 14 December is the biggest day of the year, featuring the Waikato Times Gold Cup, where the party atmosphere rocks and you will enjoy outstanding entertainment and first-class racing. On 21 December enjoy a relaxed Christmas party - this is a great day to enjoy the company of friends, family or colleagues. Packages include parking, admission, bottled water and racebooks.

Relax in style in your own private space within the marquee village on raceday. The Village is located at the northern end of the racecourse, past the winning post where you’ll be able to see your horse thundering past your ‘front door’ on the 14th and on the home straight lawn on the 21st. Te Rapa Racecourse is located north Hamilton City on SH1, Te Rapa Road, Hamilton, approximately 10 minutes drive. Raceday access is off Te Rapa Road into Sir Tristram Avenue, which is located on the left hand side of Te Rapa Road travelling north. The Entrance to Sir Tristram Avenue is sign posted between the National Bank building and Fairview Motors car yard, on the opposite side of the road from the Super Liquor Te Rapa outlet.
