Christchurch Casino NZ Cup & NZ Bloodstock 1000 Guineas Day

All roads will lead to Riccarton when the 3200 metre Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup is run at Riccarton Park Racecourse for the 150th time. This is one of the most popular race events in the country and always attracts a large crowd so make sure you are part of the action on this historic day.

While the stakes will be high on the track, on the fashion field there will also be plenty to play for, so dress like a champion. Only the best will do if you want to catch the judges’ attention in the Fashions in the Field competitions supported by Ballantynes, in association with Millennium Hotels and Resorts.

 

A host of other exciting on-course competitions will be run on the day so hold onto your hats and make the most of every moment!

Fashion Event Information:

The Fashions in the Field competition is a highlight on Cup Day. If you’ve got a look to turn heads, secure your spot in the competition by pre-registering, entry is free. Entries are taken on the day, for more details visit nzcupandshow.co.nz.

Raceday Packages:

Reserved Car Park - $100 per person

 

Reserved car park in the Edge Carriage Car Park & Entertainment zone sited from the 200 to 600 metre mark.

 

Your package includes:

  • Space allocation for a car
  • Bars, toilets, betting facilities and food outlets are all situated within easy distance.
  • Big infield screen

 

Please note: Individual entrance tickets per person are also required. The Club will contact re site plan detail. You can bring your own food and shade structures. Some restrictions do apply.

 

Multi Pack - $110 per person

  • Entrance and access to the Members area including the Club Grandstand
  • Pedestrian access to Show Gate Reserved Car Park

Please note: Additional tickets can be collected from the merchandise and racebook kiosk near the main turnstiles. A booking fee applies to purchases prior to race day. Cost to purchase individually on race day is $130. R18 restriction applies.  

 

Grand National Lawn Mini Marquee Package - $189 per person

 

The ‘ultimate venue’ with bar, tote and mini marquees. Located on the Grand National Lawn within close proximity to the Super Screen (providing fantastic coverage of the race and winning post), and right next door are the ‘Fashions in the Field’ competitions. Easy access to the outside fence and lawn, will allow you to get amongst the crowd, soak up the atmosphere and view all the entertainment next to the Birdcage.

 

Dedicated betting facilities and your own tables with ten chairs within the Mini Marquee will provide a private relaxed shared area to enjoy raceday, making this ideal for business client entertaining, small groups of friends and racing enthusiasts alike.
