For those who were in the Coromandel over the New Year and headed down to the Interislander Summer Festival Thames Races; they were treated to a classic Kiwi summer's day out at one of the country's most scenic spots. This iconic event combined thrilling thoroughbred racing on-track with live music, free kids entertainment and plenty of atmosphere off-track. It was the perfect way to welcome in 2015.
