Queen's Birthday Weekend Races featuring Ellerslie Awards
Celebrate the Queen's birthday at Ellerslie! With food and beverages available on course, and a great setup for the kids, there is something for the whole family! Whether you want to spend the day in the Ellerslie stand or enjoy the sun out on the public lawn you will have close access to betting facilities and a great view of the action.

Get your family and friends together and head on track to feel the thrill of the racing action as the horses thunder along the track in a bid to win one of the day's exhilarating races and to celebrate the season we have had at Ellerslie.
Off the track, keep the family entertained with free children’s entertainment from 11.00am and to top off your day General Admission into the racecourse and parking is free!

If you're looking for a little more than what General Admission offers, a day spent in the Ascot Stand is hard to beat!
Take a trip up to the New Zealand Room on the fifth floor and enjoy the best views on-course. Or, get up close and personal with horses and riders on the ground floor in The Winning Post.
A range of tasty hot and cold café-style food and full bar services will be available to purchase within the Ascot Stand.
Remember: Dress to impress! A dress code applies.

Ellerslie Racecourse in Auckland is well sign posted from the Southern Motorway. The best exit is Greenlane. At the roundabout turn left if travelling from north of Auckland on the motorway, or right if travelling from the south. At the first set of lights turn right. And the best thing? There is extensive free parking on site!
