The ultimate harness racing day out! Come and join the fun on track to celebrate Canterbury Anniversary Day. Feature races include the Woodlands NZ Free For All for the very best pacers and the Hellers Dominion Handicap for the highest quality trotters. Known as 'people's day', this is a popular day at the races for the whole family.

If it’s a fabulous family day out you prefer, then this is the day for you. Take the kids, a picnic and you can sit back, relax and enjoy a wonderful day’s racing from the Lindauer Lawn and the large grass lawn in the public area.
There will be children’s entertainment and activities on course including water-walkers and face painting.

Iconic New Zeland band The Warratahs will be performing in the Pubic area during the afternoon.
There is also be the Yaldhurst Hotel Punters Cup Week Punters Challenge where you could win $4000. Entry fee is $600 per team (maximum of 4 per team) plus registration fee is $90 per person. Fashion Event Information:
While the stakes will be high on the track, in the fashion field there will also be plenty to play for, so dress like a champion. Only the best will do if you want to catch the judges’ attention in the Fashion in the Field competitions at Riccarton and Addington.
General Admission: Adults $10, Children (aged 15 to 17) $10, Children (aged 14 and under) free entry
