Kids Go Racing will be at all the events with a great range of games for under 12’s, including colouring-in competitions, goodie bags, the Sugar-Cube Relay, Pin The Tail on the Horse and heaps more.

Kids will even have the chance to meet Hopples or Stirrup, our friendly horse mascots!

	Interislander Summer Festival Nelson Harness Races Sunday 11 Jan - Richmond Park If you missed Day One, or had so much fun you did it again, Day Two of Interislander Summer Festival Nelson Harness Races took place on Sunday 11 January 2015. Harness racing, live music, free kids entertainment and Nelson's super sunny climate - it was a perfect day out. 	Interislander Summer Festival Awapuni Races Saturday 10 Jan - Awapuni It was an exciting atmoshpere at Awapuni Interislander Summer Festival . The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky! Perfect picnic weather. Highlights included some amazing bouncy castles, entertaining performances by the Mad Hatter and eight thrilling races. 	Interislander Summer Festival Ellerslie Races Saturday 10 Jan - Ellerslie It was a true celebration of a Kiwi summer day at Interislander Summer Festival Ellerslie Races. The crowd swapped out the frocks and fascinators for shorts and jandals, grabbed the deck chairs and the sun umbrellas and enjoyed a classic summer's day at the races. read more >
	Interislander Summer Festival Nelson Harness Races Friday 09 Jan - Richmond Park The ultimate weekend in sunny Nelson kicked off with Interislander Summer Festival Nelson Harness Races. One of two thrilling days of harness racing; live music was enjoyed, free kids entertainment and plenty of on-track action. Guests packed a picnic and some even sampled the Tasman district's local fare and fine wine at the popular food court area. It was a great day out for all involved. read more >

Summer memories were made; family and friends got together, picnics were packed - and some of the region's finest local fare and wine was sampled - everyone just sat back and relaxed. This historic country racecourse enjoyed postcard views of the Tararua Ranges and the famous "Sunny Otaki" climate - it was an ideal base for a family picnic.
