Kids Go Racing will be at all the events with a great range of games for under 12’s, including colouring-in competitions, goodie bags, the Sugar-Cube Relay, Pin The Tail on the Horse and heaps more.
Kids will even have the chance to meet Hopples or Stirrup, our friendly horse mascots!

Interislander Summer Festival Wingatui Races is a great way to unwind after the rush of Christmas. A popular family race day with all day entertainment for the kids and thrilling thoroughbred racing action on track, it's the perfect place to enjoy and BBQ or picnic packed with leftovers. Soak up the entertainment and atmosphere this summer with friends and family at Wingatui Racecourse, located just a short 20 minute drive from Dunedin.

There is loads of great entertainment for the whole family at Interislander Summer Festival!
There will be a great range of kids entertainment on-course including the popular More FM Kids Go Racing activities.
Adults enjoy the live music, local food and drink and the chance to relax and unwind whilst studying the race form. A punters club will be operating on the day, for your share in the racing action tickets are $10.
