Kids Go Racing will be at all the events with a great range of games for under 12’s, including colouring-in competitions, goodie bags, the Sugar-Cube Relay, Pin The Tail on the Horse and heaps more.
Kids will even have the chance to meet Hopples or Stirrup, our friendly horse mascots!

Interislander Summer Festival Ashburton Races
Interislander Summer Festival Canterbury Races is back at Riccarton Park Racecourse this year. Rally your family and friends and get set for a day of racing action, live music, free kids entertainment and plenty of Cantabrian atmosphere. The beautiful grounds of this majestic racecourse provides the perfect setting for a family picnic in the sun or take advantage of the delicious local fare available on-course.
