Kids Go Racing will be at all the events with a great range of games for under 12’s, including colouring-in competitions, goodie bags, the Sugar-Cube Relay, Pin The Tail on the Horse and heaps more.
Kids will even have the chance to meet Hopples or Stirrup, our friendly horse mascots!

Experience the Kapiti Coast's finest summer harness racing at Interislander Summer Festival Otaki Harness Races. Rally your family and friends and get-on track for a day of free kids entertainment, live music and exciting harness racing. On course food & bar facilities available. Otaki Racecourse is located on Rahui Road, Otaki on the Kapiti Coast. Otaki is about a one hour drive from Wellington City. Travelling from Wellington on State Highway 1 follow the signs to Otaki, drive through the Otaki Township, at the round-a-bout turn right onto Rahui Road. The Otaki Racecourse is located 1km down Rahui Road on the right hand side.
